Tension

Today's Quote:

“Some tension is necessary for the soul to grow, and we can put that tension to good use. We can look for every opportunity to give and receive love, to appreciate nature, to heal our wounds and the wounds of others, to forgive, and to serve.” ~ Joan Borysenko

Today's Questions:

Are you putting your tension to good use?

What opportunities can you find?

About me:
Tension can create angst and angst can create more angst....After reading this quote, I realised that some tension can be healthy if viewed in a different way. If put to good use. I have not been putting my tension to good use lately yet I can find opportunities if I begin to look (of that I am sure). So join me in doing just that....Lets go on a journey together!

  2. I try to put my tension to good use. Sometimes I find that a list that I have always and constantly update is good for tense times. I can refer to it in those times and do something on it that needs to be done. Thus thinking out the tenseness.
But if I don't go to the list fast enough, I start the never ending monkey talk in my head with my monkey brain. I love monkeys but my monkey brain can take a rest.

Thank you for coming by Yvonne!
Hand mirrors are elegant and I just don't see them that much any more. My great grandmother alway had a hand mirror a brush and comb on her vanity table that matched. Come to think of it, I don't see many vanities anymore. Hers was beautiful and this warm cherry wood with a hugs oval mirror.
